Scent challenge turned into effective marketing

The Challenge

With stunning seaside views, affluent amenities and deluxe facilities it offers an exhilarating experience. From the very beginning, scent was a significant part of the Ritz-Carlton Herzliya experience and marketing efforts.

To assist in the pre-opening marketing efforts, WhiteScent deployed odor neutralizing fragrances to eliminate unwanted odors related to the building construction and developed brand scented promotional items.

Our Solution

Once completed, we were faced with a new challenge: the hotel’s architecture is a complex of different spaces, hallways and entrances. Deploying a scent system in such an environment needs to take under consideration the air flow and wind direction, and odors from the outdoors including the marina, parking lot and others properties.

Thanks to state-of-the-art planning and execution, each area was fragranced while keeping a continuous scent level in the hallways. An additional scent treatment system was deployed to neutralize odors from the bustling restaurants in the nearby marina.
